Wax Model Process
A wax model begins as an extended hard wax tube. It is cut to size and filled smooth on all sides.

The Wax Model is graphed and filed down to the appropriate dimensions to accomodate our customer's finger size & Diamonds.

AThe Diamond is seated in place. The placement of the center diamond will determine the proportions and placement of all other elements in the model.

The model is trimmed to size, the details are carefully hand carved, and the model is finished with sand paper. It is now ready for approval.
Casting Process
The Wax Model is placed in a steal Flask and surrounded by Investment. Investment is a plaster like substance that will harden once heated in a Kiln.
Casting Process
As the Flask heats in the Kiln, the Wax Model will melt out of the bottom leaving a cavity in the same shape as the Wax Model.
Casting Process
The Flask is heated to 1,325-1,650°F to harden the Investment and remove any Carbon residue. Then the Kiln is lowered to 900*F before Casting.
Casting Process
The Platinum or Gold Casting Grain is carefully weighed for each Flask. Casting Grain looks like small round beads measuring 2-5 mm in Diameter.

The Casting Grain is placed in a Crucible in the Vacuum Casting Machine. Platinum is heated to roughly 3,215°F and 18k Gold to 1,675°F.

The Metal is Shot into the Cavity of the Flask with Centrifical force while under Vacuum pressure. The flask is then set aside to Cool to room temperature.
Finishing Process
The Raw Casting is removed from the investment by gently tapping the sides of the steal flask with a raw hide hammer which breaks the Investment.

The Semi-Finished Casting is placed in a Laser Machine, under magnification, to Inspect the Casting and to Blend or Polish hard to reach areas.

The Sprue (Lead) and any other protrusions or part lines are removed by filing and sanding.

The Casting is place in a Magnetic Tumbler to Semi-Polish the casting. Tumbling Media consist of small round steal balls similar in size to BB's.
Setting Process
Each Diamond is hand selected for Quality, Size & Brilliance. Then, skillfully set in place with the aid of a good Graver and a powerfull Microscope.

The Seat for the Center Diamond is Cut using a straight sided Setting Bur.

Each Prong is carefully Pushed over the Center Diamond in a Clock Wise motion ensuring a Straight & Level Center Diamond.

Once the Diamond is firmly Set in place, a Valadium File and Carbide Burnisher is used to expertly Trim & Shape the Prongs.
Polishing Process
Throughout the Finishing & Setting Process, a Ring will be subjected to 5-6 Polishing steps using 800 Grit Bobbing to 8,000 Grit High Luster Compunds.
