Creating something outside of the box can be both rewarding and challenging. The designers at Pierce Jewelers are ready to assist you with making your idea into something that you will treasure.  The store owners John Kanable and Chuck Scanlan will personally oversee each project to ensure the best quality and value for each Customer’s project.  Some examples are included at the bottom of this page for you to view.

Simply bring in your ideas, drawings and photos for inspiration. Yes, you can even bring in a piece of jewelry that we can up-cycle, reuse, or recreate! Our designers will let you know how best to bring your ideas to life in a ring, pendant or earrings  to enjoy for the years to come.

Your design will then get turned over to our CAD (Computer Aided Design) operator. The operator will render a 3D image that will display your design to be viewed from every angle.  

Once the CAD has met approval, the next process is to make a  wax model of your custom piece. Our jewelers are highly skilled at carving. The details that they carve is simply amazing, it’s a work of art. When the wax model is finished, it is checked to see if any changes are necessary.

Then, it is casted into a mold. After the mold is made, the precious metal is poured and placed in a kiln.  The rough cast is  ready to have gems and diamonds set into it. 

Lastly, we hand polish to a mirror finish and add any other finishes that you desire.  This is how the process works for a custom ring or jewelry that Pierce Jewelers creates with you.
